Minutes 0–5: warm-up
Use comfortable throws at large single segments. Focus on rhythm and shoulder comfort rather than maximum points.
- Track how often all three darts land in your chosen segment.
- Keep an easy, repeatable pace.
Minutes 5–12: target grouping
Choose one scoring target, such as the 20 segment. Throw steady three-dart visits and record how often you reach the intended single, double or triple area.
- Write down your number of successful hits.
- Watch for a consistent left, right, high or low miss pattern.
Minutes 12–18: doubles
Pick two or three doubles and give each a fixed number of attempts. For example, practice D20, D16 and D8.
- Record hits divided by darts thrown at each double.
- Do not count a nearby single as a successful double.
Minutes 18–20: review
Write down one thing that improved and one focused target for your next session. Compare results over several sessions rather than one night.
