At least one member per team signs in to My DartConnect. Regular league scoring can use a free account.
Open the scorer
Use the dashboard's scoring-app shortcut and save it to the tablet's home screen. This is a web application, not a required app-store installation.
Choose the fixture
Open Leagues & Groups (called the red League option in other versions), choose the current league and select the correct match for the night.
FIVE SIMPLE LESSONS.
Follow these in order for your first match, or open only the lesson you need. Every lesson points to the official source.
01Prepare the scoring deviceAccount access, updated roster and safe setup.
- Open the official DartConnect scoring app and sign in using an eligible account. DartConnect describes a free Guest account or Premium membership for league access.
- With internet access, select Check for Updates before attempting a scheduled match so current league data and rosters are available.
- Confirm you can see the correct league, division and teams. If something is missing, ask your league organizer rather than inventing a roster rule.
- Secure the tablet near the board, and keep it charged and accessible to the scorekeeper.
02Start the correct league matchUse the scheduled match when available.
- Select the appropriate league match in the scorer and verify teams and players.
- If the league uses DartConnect scheduling but a match is missing, check for updates and refresh the listing first.
- DartConnect documents Create Manual League Match as a fallback where supported; confirm with your organizer before using it in competition.
- Review the game order and 01/Cricket formats before entering the first visit.
03Score 501 and Cricket accuratelyRecord every turn and avoid guesswork.
- For 01, enter the visit score and confirm the new remainder. Record Miss or Bust for a non-scoring turn so the player advances correctly.
- For Cricket, enter singles, doubles and triples for the actual segments hit, including bull marks.
- Check the current player and leg before the next throw. Accurate visit records support averages and match reports.
- On the winning visit, follow the scorer prompt for the finishing dart when shown.
04Fix a wrong scoreCorrect the visit rather than hiding the error.
- Pause the next throw and confirm the correct score with the players.
- DartConnect describes Back/Undo for correcting the most recent 01 or Cricket visit.
- For earlier Cricket visits, the official app offers Edit Other Turns, but some leagues prohibit edits to previous turns: confirm policy first.
- If the correction affects the match outcome or policy, contact the league organizer before continuing.
05Save and verify the resultSeparate saving from internet synchronization.
- After the last leg, review the match score and notes with the opposing captain.
- DartConnect documents a timed autosave as well as Save Match and Cancel Save options. Use the available controls to confirm or correct the result.
- The app can score without Wi-Fi after setup, but an internet connection is required to sync match results to DartConnect servers.
- If a match does not upload, consult the official league troubleshooting instructions for Retry Match Sync; escalate if it remains unsynced.
Important: DartConnect can change its screens and controls. Always use the current official help and follow your league’s rules if its match setup or permitted corrections differ.
FAST TROUBLESHOOTING.
Find your situation, try the official first checks, then contact the appropriate organizer if it involves league policy.
01My league or team is missing
- Sign in using an account linked to the same email address recorded by your league.
- Connect to internet and run Check for Updates from the welcome screen.
- If the entire team or league is missing, contact your league administrator; do not add unapproved players.
02The scheduled fixture is not listed
- Run Check for Updates with internet available.
- Confirm that your league uses DartConnect scheduling.
- If supported, review the official Create Manual League Match instructions; ask your organizer first.
03A score or player order is wrong
- Pause before another dart is thrown.
- Use the supported Back/Undo or player-order controls in the scoring app.
- For a ruling involving past turns, a wrong winner or a policy question, contact the league organizer.
04There is no Wi-Fi at the venue
- DartConnect says scoring can continue offline after logging in and preparing for the match.
- Do not assume the finished result has been delivered; internet is needed to sync.
- Once connectivity returns, verify the saved match reached the servers.
05A finished match has not synced
- Reconnect to a reliable internet connection.
- Open the scoring app match log from the Welcome Screen and use Retry Sync according to DartConnect’s league guide.
- If it remains pending, save the error details and contact the appropriate league organizer.
DARTCONNECT ONLINE PLAY.
The association's online-play instructions describe using a separate scoring device and VideoConnect-capable camera device, testing the internet connection at the location of play, and having the home player generate a join code. The guest joins through the Play Online workflow rather than opening the league directly.
That material specifies a DartConnect Premium account for VideoConnect, plus a stable upload connection, but contains unresolved draft questions about league fees and awards. Management confirmed that online leagues are inactive. If the program resumes, DartConnect Premium is required for online play; this does not change the ordinary in-person scoring account requirement. Check the provider's latest requirements before setting up online play.
