Know your targets
In standard American Cricket, target 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and the bull. Three marks close a number; scoring against an opponent’s still-open number is possible under standard rules.
- A single target counts one mark.
- A double target counts two marks.
- A triple target counts three marks.
- Outer bull counts one bull mark; inner bull counts two.
Enter what actually landed
DartConnect distinguishes singles, doubles and triples. The official guidance says not to treat double and triple buttons as mere shortcuts, because actual dart-by-dart entry feeds useful statistics.
Check the close and score state
Verify both players’ marks and points before ending the turn. A standard Cricket win requires closing the targets and not trailing in score, but variations can differ.
