Start with the facts

Pause the situation safely and clarify exactly what is disputed. Avoid continuing play if that could make the record harder to correct.

• Identify the leg, players and the score or event in question.
• Check the current written match rules and scoring record.
• Ask both captains to review the facts respectfully.

Separate errors from rulings

A mistyped score can often be corrected in the scoring system, while an eligibility or rules interpretation issue may require an organizer decision. Do not confuse software controls with league policy.
