LEAD THE TEAM.
READY FOR THE OCHE.
A practical match-night toolkit for captains: stay organized, record results carefully and know when to ask an organizer for an official decision.
REGISTER YOUR TEAM ON TIME.
The team registration form is released before each season. Team registration closes on the Saturday after kickoff. The current team fee is $125 per season, typically paid by the host bar, although the team is ultimately responsible. Management says fees are due by week one; match forfeiture begins in week three if the fee remains unpaid.
Check the next kickoff date and registration form with the League Director. Management allows substitutes to join during a match; captains should still verify player eligibility. This guide does not register a team or accept payments.
CAPTAIN RESPONSIBILITIES IN PRACTICE.
The captain is the link between players, the host venue, the opposing team and the League Director. These highlights are adapted from the captains' responsibilities and amended league rules.
Check player eligibility, name a captain, prepare the lineup blind and ensure a fully charged DartConnect scoring tablet is available.
A postponement request requires at least two hours' notice to the opposing captain. Management permits recruiting substitutes on match night; roster eligibility and any required organizer approval must still be checked.
Resolve disputes with the opposing captain in private. Written protests go to the League Director within 48 hours; verify recorded DartConnect results.
Management clarified the registration deadline, $125 fee, week-one fee due date and week-three forfeiture threshold on October 14, 2026. A reschedule request requires at least two hours' notice. Confirm any subsequent rule amendments with the League Director. The governing rules also supersede informal match-night suggestions.

PAPER BACKUPS, DONE RIGHT.
When the device is unavailable or a question needs documenting, a neutral worksheet is better than guessing.
